The Lady Warriors entered the MHSAA AAAA Volleyball Provincials Championships ranked #1. They backed up that ranking with win over River East in the Quarterfinals. 19-25, 25-17, 13-25, 25-17, 15-10 to advance to the MHSAA semi-finals on Wednesday Nov 30 versus Vincent Massey Vikings at 6:00pm at the Investors Group Athletic Centre (IGAC) at the University of Manitoba. Sturgeon Heights JV Girls

Congratulations to the Sturgeon Heights JV Girls capped a great season with great run at the MHSAA AAAA Volleyball Provincials Championships this past weekend in Winnipeg. The girls defeated the River East Kodiaks in the provincial quarter finals in 5 games 19-25, 25-13, 25-27, 25-17, 16-14.

They continued their winning ways with but another 5 set marathon with MBCI  in the provincial semis resulted in a spectacular run to the Final Four! The scores were 17-25, 25-23, 18-25, 22-25, 15-11.  Great job Lady Huskies!

John Taylor Pipers JV Volleyball Success!

John Taylor JV Boys

Congratulations to the John Taylor JV Boys who finished in 3^rd Place at the MHSAA AAA Volleyball Provincials Championships this past weekend in Landmark. The boys lost to the provincial champion Niverville Panthers in the semifinals in a tight battle 25-21, 14-25, 11-15. They rebounded from this tough loss to capture the provincial bronze medal 25-12-25-20 over the Westgate Wings. Congratulations!

John Taylor JV Girls

The girls entered the MHSAA AAA Volleyball Provincials Championships this past weekend in Virden ranked 5^th and with some tough games in the round robin did not make the final four for the playoffs. Great season for the girls and they look forward to next season.
